You are not alone today.

It’s not up to you.  This is not your life to live, but Jesus is living His life in you.  The problems you face today are not your problems, but His.  Are you curious and expectant to see what He does NEXT, in you, others, circumstances?  No?  Confess your unbelief in His promises, in His sovereignty.  Or thank Him for His grace in exposing your unbelief/independence/pride/agenda/willfulness/worldliness.  And thank Him for the harrrd in your life, and for any jerks.  Thank Him that you don’t know how to deal with what you face.  Thank Him for what He’s going to do today, whatever it is.  And thank Him that you haven’t a clue what the best or worst-case scenario would be, because you’re a dumb sheep desperately needing a Shepherd.

–DumbSheepDave, temporaily sane, blissful, because of the convicting work of the Shepherd’s Spirit, hoping the pre-believers around him are noticing a difference
