What's it like

to be a sovereignty-aware Christian in the midst of brutal adversity? You feel like "the luckiest person in the whole wide world." Huh? YES. Privileged like few others. Because Jesus and His genius plan for your life, is EVERYTHING and everything else -- the things your human-wisdom values, is nothing, by comparison. You momentarily realize that the hardship in your life has been used of the Spirit over time, to enable you to experience sovereignty-awareness -- living and working out of communion with Jesus, and there is NOTHing comparable. Nothing even comes close.

Jesus, we confess that we treasure many things more than we treasure You, and Your genius plan for our lives. Thank You for the convicting work of Your Spirit that opens our eyes to momentarily see the problem of human-wisdom-dependency in our lives, robbing us of the joy and peace that's ours in Jesus-dependency. Forgive us for being more influenced by our human-wisdom, and the human-wisdom of others, than by Scripture, which clearly teaches that You are Lord of All -- every tiny detail of our everyday lives. Thank You, that grace is for sinners, failures, strugglers to believe, and that means we QUALIFY for Your grace.
