STOPPIT.

Stop trying to do better, believe better, follow Jesus better, be a better spouse, parent, employee, boss. Instead CONFESS your failure. The Christian life is SIMPLE, but our human-wisdom makes it complicated. Just CONFESS.

WHY do we want to be better, do better? Seems so noble to wannabe better. Because Jesus is not ENOUGH for us. We wanna feel BETTER about ourselves. We don't LIKE ourselves as we are, in the place He has us right now. The imputed worthiness of Jesus is NOT satisfying to us. Pride, not humility. A humble Christian is not afraid of being a loser -- a great example of a bad example. A proud Christian wants MORE. Contentment is elusive for a proud Christian. And so is happiness.
