ShepherdDave needs a reality check

every morning, and all day long.  I wake up thinking that what I see with my eyes is reality.  But there’s way more to reality.  Scripture says Jesus is behind everything and everyone, and THAT reality is way-more important to my happiness than what I see on Facebook, TV, email, or as I’m walking, driving, or talking with someone.

ShepherdDave trusts his eyes for reality, and what he sees is a fantasy world where it’s up to him to make things happen.  Independence/pride/worldliness.  Very stressful.  But DumbSheepDave sees his ShepherdJesus behind everything and everyone, and is therefore curious and expectant to see what his ShepherdJesus does next, in Dave, others, circumstances.  All problems are Jesus-problems.  Ahhh.

–ShepherdDave, always needing the Spirit to freshly convict him of the sin of independence/pride/worldliness, so he’s momentarily DumbSheepDave – asking and thanking about everything, experiencing the bliss of Jesus-dependency, so the pre-believers around him might actually want what he has
