I’m happiest when

Updated: Sep 13, 2020

I feel entitled to NOTHing. No roof over my head, no family, no friends, no job, no savings, no freedoms, no cool-fast car, no good food to eat, no good sleep, no decent health, and then pitied — or worse, despised, by others. NOTHing. Like, living homeless under a bridge, on cardboard, dumpster diving for food, feeling lousy.

I’m UNhappiest when I want MORE, feel I DESERVE more, DESERVE what I have — or when what I have is threatened, subpar, when my life is extra harrrd. UNLESS. The Spirit of Jesus freshly convicts me of feeling the need for something OTHER than Himself, something OTHER than my name being written in Heaven, something OTHER than being unconditionally cherished by the CreatorSustainer of the Universe. Ahhh. Tis so sweet when Jesus is EVERYthing, and everything else is NOTHing, by comparison.
