How do I enjoy the naive?

I see political progressives, conservatives, libertarians, being naive about different things.  And also pre-believers and believers, about Jesus things.  ShepherdDave, my flesh, my arrogance, wants to set them all straight, so they are no longer naive.  But what would it look like, to enjoy them as DumbSheepDave, as naive as they are, without trying to change them?  ShepherdDave can’t imagine.  But I guess, first, well, dumb sheep never try and change anyone, because that is shepherds’ work, and only foolish sheep attempt to change others, or even themselves.  Dumb sheep look to their Shepherd as the change agent, and they thank Him for everyone and everything, just as it is, and for the Shepherd’s genius plan, just as it is.  So maybe a dumb sheep waits to be asked, or at least asks the Shepherd what He thinks the dumb sheep should do, if anything, and in the meantime, enjoys the naive just as they are.  A shepherd thinks s/he knows what’s best for everyone, and therefore tries to change others, and self.  Progressives, conservatives, libertarians, pre-believers and believers, feel enjoyed and respected by DumbSheepDave, but feel agenda/pressure/arrogance from ShepherdDave.
