Are we a Martha Church,

busy doing many good things through planning and management, using our human-wisdom? Do we need Jesus to grow us into a Mary Church, with our eyes and thoughts fixed on Jesus, where we do NOTHing on our own, but are curious/expectant to see what Jesus does NEXT in us, others, circumstances? Watch-it-happen types, instead of make-it-happen types. So we operate with Jesus-power, instead of the human-wisdom-power that causes the watching world to yawn?

What can we DO? Each time we individual believers are AWARE of our human-wisdom-dependency, CONFESS. Ahhh. The more Jesus-dependent we are, the more compelling we'll be to the seculars around us.
